Die Semesterthematik umfasste Untersuchungen zum Landschaftsbild in Stadt und Umland, die Beschäftigung mit Farbe und mit der Technik des Farbholzschnitts von drei Druckplatten. Die Kursteilnehmer*innen konnten Holzschnitte renomierter Künstler*innen im Original studieren und im freien Feld ihren Blick auf die Landschaft schärfen. Zurück im Labor wurde nach zeichnerischen Studien der Prozess des Reduzierens und Transformierens in drei Druckfarben durchdacht und realisiert.

The topic of the semester included studies of the landscape in the city and surrounding area, the study of colour and the technique of colour woodcuts from three printing plates. The course participants were able to study woodcuts by renowned artists in the original and sharpen their view of the landscape in the open field. Back in the lab, after drawing studies, the process of reducing and transforming was thought through and realised in three printing colours.
